When Pennsylvania State Representative Frank Ryan asked his constituents how COVID19 is impacting their lives, Central PA Regional Director Bob Swanson encouraged him to look at YAP’s program participants, families and staff.

A large part of Ryan’s District is in Lebanon County, where Bob lives and works. Central PA YAP provides community-based alternatives to out-of-home placement for young people involved in youth justice, child welfare, behavioral health and developmental disabilities services.

Bob’s outreach resulted in an interview posted on Ryan’s Facebook page.
