NJ Regional Director Says YAP Helps to Reduce Racial Disparity in the Justice System

A new report fro the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice asserts that racial disparities are overwhelming in the juvenile justice system.  YAP Regional Director Fred Fogg is quoted in this article about how YAP works to engage youth and families in community-based alternatives to incarceration and reduce recidivism.  "White youth involved in juvenile justice issues tend to have better access to diversion programs than African American youth," Fogg said.  Read the full article at NJ TV Online.
