Summary of the Position: YAP is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for our child and adolescent outpatient clinics up to 24 hours per week. The Nurse Practitioner will work in conjunction with YAP’s four outpatient clinics to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and young adults ages 3-20. This position is a blend of in-person and telehealth services and will be shared between our clinic locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin, Texas. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for accurately documenting services through YAP’s electronic health record.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (PMH-APRN) program, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education program, and licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for State of Texas.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
