On September 24, as part of their Mid-Atlantic Regional leadership training and retreat, Youth Advocate Programs (YAP), Inc. leaders honored two of their colleagues. Annie Mae Jeffers has served YAP as an Advocate for 30 years. Bea Lewis is retiring after serving youth and families for more than 27 years. Both women exemplify YAP’s 44 years of effectively serving as a community-based alternative to youth incarceration and family separation.
