Summary of the Position: School Liaison is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized truancy services in a variety of community-based setting to children/youth with truancy issues identified by the educational setting and/or school district that the children/youth attends, and their families. These settings include, but are not limited to, home, school, and community settings. The School Liaison is supervised by Program Director. The goal is to implement sound clinical interventions and support services to enable the children/adolescents to maintain and function appropriately in the educational setting and/or school district that they are identified as a student.
Morning availability is necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required; minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
Must have access to reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
