Intensive In-Home Community Clinician - Sussex County, NJ

(YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies, in 31 states plus DC, working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 dedicated workers and serves approximately 20,000 youth and families per year.  Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. Summary of the Position: The IIC is responsible for: the provision of face-to-face clinical behavioral stabilization and support interventions, supportive behavioral counseling, psycho-educational services, skills training, and therapeutic services designed to assist children, youth and/or their families to strengthen and develop the adaptive and coping skills they need to restore or maintain the child or youth’s capacity to function in the community.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related discipline. Minimum of LSW or LAC with (1) one year of relevant experience providing therapeutic services in a comparable in-community environment. Therapist with specialties (trauma therapy, play therapy, art therapy, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of using telehealth platforms and Bi-Lingual is a plus.

 

Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
