Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies, in 31 states plus DC, working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 dedicated workers and serves approximately 20,000 youth and families per year.  Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. Summary of Position:

The Clinical Director provides clinical services in a variety of home and community based settings to children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances to prevent out-of-home placement. The services include clinical assessments, Individualized Resiliency Plan development, crisis response, resource coordination, and individual and/or family counseling. The Clinical Director is responsible for providing services in client homes and communities, accurately documenting services, facilitating weekly individual and group supervision meetings, and the clinical and administrative supervision of paraprofessionals. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Clinically Licensed Staff with an Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist granted by the State of Georgia’s Composite Board of Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists (as well as be in good standing with that authority) to oversee and meet programmatic standards.
