Summary of Position: This critical position will join a dynamic team as a pro-active, front-line fundraiser and an enthusiastic and persuasive ambassador for YAP’s mission. This role is responsible for implementing creative, cutting edge tactics and building authentic relationships to raise funds in support of YAP’s mission. This role will work with the Chief of Philanthropic Engagement to plan and execute the cultivation, stewardship and personal solicitation of individual donors and prospects, as well as launch and manage annual campaigns while fully supporting all fundraising efforts of the agency. Willingness to do “whatever it takes” to meet our goals and cross-over into the corporate and foundation sectors when needed.
The Primary responsibilities: Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual donors through visits and other forms of direct personal contact in accordance with performance targets set in collaboration with YAP’s programmatic needs. Assists with corporate and foundation fundraising when needed. Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with YAP staff, board members and other partners to maximize total gift revenue, plan solicitation strategies, and leverage joint solicitation efforts. Develop an Annual Giving Program and support all fundraising efforts.
Position offers full-time, remote office, and can be located anywhere in the US.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; and 3-5 years of direct professional fundraising experience is required. CFRE is a plus. Minimum 1 to 3 years major gifts and/or planned giving experience preferred.
