Business Development Coordinator - Baltimore, MD

Part-Time, Hourly, Maryland | View Counts (315) | Return|

Status: Part Time Hourly                                                                       FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt      

 

Summary of Position:  Job Developer/Business Development Coordinator will build relationships with local employers and small business owners and help connect program participants with potential employment opportunities.

 

Job Developer will work with the local business community to recruit Opportunity Advisors who will provide program participants with  worksite training and real world of work experience, attend local business functions (Chamber of Commerce Meetings, etc) to build relationships with the local business community, meet one-on-one with program participants to discuss career goals and possibilities, work to place program participants with the Opportunity Advisors who work in their desired fields, and work to place program participants with potential employers.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

  • Knowledge of community work and community resources
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and writing proficiency.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
