Quality Assurance - Clark County, NV

 Status:  Full-Time Hourly                  FLSA classification:  Non-Exempt

 

Summary of the PositionClark County Youth Advocate Programs has a Quality Assurance position available for our WIOA program. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure program compliance to maintain Federal, State, and Local standards by regular individual case reviews to new enrollments, active and follow up with files;
  • Provide technical assistance to staff on all aspects of WIOA paperwork and procedures to ensure program policies and procedures are being met;
  • Maintain partnership with Workforce Connections by attending required meetings;
  • Work in conjunction with Human Resources and Program Staff to track fiscal spending;
  • Work in conjunction with the WIOA Program Director and Fiscal department to meet all goals and measures by the end of the fiscal year;
  • Maintain regular communication with the WIOA staff members and manager to ensure program compliance;
  • Keep up with the Federal, State, and Local level program policy changes;
  • Assist with closing out files to be transferred to Workforce Connections;
  • Utilize EmployNV, EVOLV, and any other case management system to manage, review and track individual files.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred.

 

Strong communication, training and organizational skills are required. Understanding of current industry trends and practices, including competitive standards for job performance, readiness, retention, and advancement pathways within industry positions. Knowledge of WIOA program preferred.    

 

Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
