Summary of the Position: The Clinical Director is responsible for clinical oversight of the Behavioral Health Services Program, including the provision of client services and personnel supervision. The Clinical Director conducts Mental Health Assessments, oversees the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans, requests service authorizations, and provides individual and family counseling as needed. The Clinical Director will engage in recruiting, training, and supervising Behavioral Health Technicians and Paraprofessionals, monitoring the quality of client services, and adhering to set service delivery levels. The Clinical Director responds to crisis situations and maintains 24/7 availability. All services are provided consistent with YAP’s individualized, strengths-based, family-focused philosophy and in compliance with Arizona Medicaid and YAP standards, as well as all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service. Position requires non-traditional business hours (on occasion) and travel throughout Maricopa County.
Qualifications/Requirements: Valid licensure in the State of Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist required. Experience in the provision and supervision of behavioral health services.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
