(YAP) is one of the largest non-profit youth and family support agencies, in 33 states plus DC, working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 dedicated workers and we serve thousands of families a year in more than 100 rural, urban, and suburban communities nationwide. Our mission is to engage human services systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, disability, primary health care, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives for the highest risk children, youth people, young adults, families, and adults. Summary of the Position: Program Coordinator will conduct intake meetings, case management, and facilitate group sessions including but not limited to Casey Life Skills, PATTS, and the YAPWORX curriculum. Program Coordinator will attend court appearances, when necessary with the Youth and manage reports that are sent to the referring authorities. Hourly, Part Time position serving the youth and families in Middlesex County. Applicant must be dependable, willing to travel throughout the city of New Brunswick, NJ committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. The positions offers flexible hours, weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursements.

$17.00 per hour.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:  A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.

 

Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
