Stephanie Hart, President, New York
Plattsburgh State University, Master's Degree, Community and Agency Counseling
Ms. Hart holds a master's degree in Community and Agency Counseling with two years extended study in Community-Based Substance Abuse Intervention and Psychopathology and delinquency in Juveniles from Plattsburgh State University. She has worked in the past with youth in individual and group settings using a variety of non-traditional treatment approaches including: Adventure Based Counseling (ABC), Prevention Education and reality-based interventions. Since joining YAP in 1999, she has had the opportunity to experience multiple levels of management. Beginning as Director, then to Director of Programs, Regional Director, and Vice President, she is currently the Executive Vice President of New York State YAP. She has been tirelessly dedicated to the mission, program principles and improving the lives of youth and families in the communities in which they live.
