Job Title: Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW)

Status: Part-Time
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Pay: $35/hour

Summary of the Position: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc Intensive Outpatient Program in Austin, Texas seeks a part-time therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) that is available to work with children and adolescents (0-17 years of age) and their families in an Intensive Outpatient Program that treats all Axis I disorders. The times for these sessions would be in the afternoon, evenings, and on Saturdays. The part-time therapist would be part of a therapeutic team that seeks to provide the highest quality of services to the Austin-Area.

Qualifications/Requirements: Preferred qualifications include an impeccable work history with youth and families, ability to provide direct and indirect therapeutic services to children and their families. Also the position requires creativity, flexibility and strong people skills. In addition, a master's degree and licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required. The position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability. This position requires background checks to be completed. Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care companies a plus; skills in the use of Art or Play Therapy a plus.
