Over the course of the past 13 years, David White has been instrumental in establishing YAP's program to assist children with autism, as well as a key player in expanding the range of YAP's programs in southeastern and central Pennsylvania and Ohio. Mr. White's professional career has been dedicated to providing community-based services to families.

Prior to joining YAP in 1993, Mr. White served as the Co-Director for the Lancaster County Office of Special Offender Services where he secured grant funds to develop and implement programs for disabled offenders. He also worked as a classroom teacher for special needs students in the Steelton-Highspire School District. Mr. White has been honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Mental Health/Mental Retardation Service Providers for Excellence in MH/MR Service Delivery.
