Community College of Philadelphia, Associates Degree in Computer Science

Cliff Kubiak joined the Youth Advocate Programs team in 1992 as program director of the Philadelphia In-Home Detention Program. While in Philadelphia, he implemented the Pre Hearing Intensive Supervision Program which still serves youth and families today. He was also part of the team that opened the STRIVE and REACH Programs that worked with at-risk youth in some of the most difficult high schools in the City. He also helped implement the Dauphin County In-Home Detention Program and split time between Harrisburg and Philadelphia for six months until a Dauphin County director was recruited and trained.

In 1997 Mr. Kubiak moved to The Support Center in Harrisburg to help design and implement the company's internal auditing department. The auditing department prepares offices for outside audits and also ensures that they meet YAP's internal guidelines. In 1999 he was given the additional responsibility of supervising the monitoring, reception and information technology (IT) departments. He led the team that installed the Microsoft network and e-mail systems that form the foundation of YAP's communications system. The system simplifies communications between personnel at all offices. His department has also worked closely with the HR and Fiscal departments to implement software which has improved their ability to perform their daily responsibilities and reporting.

In 2006 Mr. Kubiak was appointed Chief Information Officer and was named to the Senior Management team. His current duties include managing the IT department and serving as team leader for the Operations Team.

In addition to his daily duties, Mr. Kubiak serves as a member of the Health Insurance Committee, YAP Autism board, Integrity Compliance and PQI committees, senior management and as an advisor to the Lead Committee and the COA implementation group.

He and his wife Allie currently reside in Mechanicsburg, PA and have four children. They have two biological and two foster children. They have also had the privilege of having several other foster children spend time with them. They are the social directors for their neighborhood development and coordinate several annual events for the community. Mr. Kubiak has also coached his children's basketball, soccer, baseball and football teams and served as a volunteer firefighter for nine years.
