Andrew O'Shaughnessy

Andrew began his career serving for six years in the Irish Army attached to the Military Police Corp. Following this he spent eleven years with the Power Supermarket Group with responsibility for the personal security of the Board of Directors and their families. In 1998 he joined East Telecom as Senior Customer Service Manager. In 2002 Andrew established The Haven in Dublin 7, an emergency accommodation provision, contracted to the Local Authority homeless services section.

Andrew also established Housing and Property Solutions, an agency specialising in sustained tenancy solutions for homeless families. Andrew joined the YAP Ireland Board in March 2009 and served as Company Secretary until May 2010. He became Vice Chair of the YAP Ireland Board in May 2011.
