First Graduate From New PA Day Treatment Center

Congratulations to Noah Ortiz, Lebanon County YAP’s first Day Treatment graduate. The Re-entry treatment Center/Community Treatment Center began in July 2014 as an alternative to residential treatment for juvenile offenders in Lebanon County. Currently, 13 youth participate in the program in as much as 25 hours a week.“I’m proud to be the first graduate,” said Noah. “The program helped me stay out of trouble because I’m not on the streets. I’m looking forward to getting off of probation."...

On Friday, July 18, Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. will present Peace Street, an event intended to promote peace and encourage dialog about combating violence in the Harrisburg area.  The Dauphin County Family Clinic invites area residents and business to participate in the event, which features art, games, speakers, food, and giveaways.  Local news station CBS21 recently highlighted the effort in its "Making a Difference" feature.
