James Conroy, PhD, and Robin Ferris of the Center for Outcome Analysis (“COA”) conducted a pilot study of 128 young people who received services from Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. Lancaster YAP recently held staff appreciation days that were a huge success! They chose a movie theme, since their staff are STARS! Over 20 local businesses took the opportunity to thank staff for their work in the community.  They donated food (such as 8 pizzas, Olive Garden salad and breadsticks, Herrs products, Turkey Hill drinks, etc.), items to raffle off (such as theatre tickets, $40 gift card to local grocery store, $25 to Shady Maple, and more) which were raffled off every hour to staff...

On Friday, February 26, 8 young people from Lebanon YAP slipped into tuxedos and prom gowns to help promote the 8th Annual Glass Slipper Project. The Glass Slipper Project, sponsored by the Lebanon County Commission for Women, provides quality prom gowns to Lebanon area high school girls who want to attend their high school’s proms. Recently YAP was honored at The Howard Levin Clubhouse 6th Employer Recognition Event.
